Knorr-Bremse is a German manufacturer of braking systems and a supplier of safety-critical sub-systems.
Their iMass onboard mass management (OBM) system has been created to measure the pressure in the air suspension of the vehicle using the Knorr-Bremse TEBS G2.2 trailer electronic braking system.
The system is made up of a driver interface unit (DIU), an electronic control unit (ECU), a pressure sensor and deflection or level sensor, which is installed on the truck.
On the trailer it utilises the Knorr-Bremse G2.2 TEBS, coupled with Knorr-Bremse iLevel suspension control plus iLevel sensor.
